Tehran in unrest after 5.2 earthquake

The 5.2 magnitude earthquake that struck Alborz province, west of Tehran, on Wed. night brought many people to the streets and parks, who were in fear of a stronger aftershock.

Quake startles residents in central Iran, damages homes

An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale shattered homes and drove hundreds of people into the streets in Iran’s central city of Kouhbanan, in the province of Kerman. The Thursday quake destroyed a number of buildings and caused damages to private properties.
