Iranian life expectancy exceeds 75

IRNA Life expectancy in Iran has reached 75.6 years, says an official report issued on the occasion of Iranian President Hassan Rouhanis 100th day in office.

Life expectancy figure was 70.4 in the Iranian year 1384 (starting March 21, 2005), which gradually increased reaching 75.6 in the Iranian year 1395 (starting on March, 21, 2016).

According to the 255-page report, the most important cause of the increase is the decline in the number of infants and childrens deaths, easier access to health services, increase of literacy, and more facilities in rural areas.

The report also says that all the Iranians have access to health services.

The Iranian government has other plans to further increase the life expectancy figure and health index, added the report.
