IRNA � Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Monday that Tehran is now examining establishment of the European Union (EU office), and it will voice its final decision in due time.


Talking to reporters in his weekly press briefing, Qasemi said establishment of the EU office in Tehran is under study and presently no one has declared its opening, but this will be examined prior to declaring the final decision.

On such major issues, other bodies in addition to the foreign ministry should express their views or concerns and the final decision will be made after taking all these points into account and establishment of the EU office will take place within such framework, he said.
