Iran FM: Stoking further crisis would be unwise

IRNA Iranian foreign minister in a reference to certain powers' plots for fanning turmoil in the region, said stoking further crisis would be unwise.

'A more experienced person might think doubling down on bad bets by stoking further crises would be unwise, and can only end in tears. Saddam, Taliban, Zarqawi, ISIS, and now, Yemen, Qatar (and) Lebanon,' Mohammad Javad Zarif said in a message released in his twitter account on Friday.

Yemen, Qatar and Lebanon have witnessed political crisis in the recent years and months. Yemen has been dragged into a civil war since 2015 by a Saudi-led aggression and in the meantime, Saudi Arabia and its allies have imposed a siege against Qatar since June, following a rift between Doha and Riyadh.

Also, Lebanon is on the verge of political crisis, following the country's Prime Minister Saad Hariri resignation, declared in Riyadh under Saudi pressure.
