IRNA � Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei met on Thursday with thousands of school and university students on the eve of the national Student Day which falls on November 4 this year.


Each year Iranians commemorate the occasion which marks the anniversary of takeover of the US embassy in 1979 by the Iranian students in Tehran.

The 13th day of the Iranian month of Aban, the eighth month of the Iranian calendar, is known as the national Student Day marking the national day of the fight against the global arrogance.
