SHANA - Iran's Bidboland II Gas Refinery Project, a supplier at feedstock to petrochemical facilities, has so far progressed 55%, having generated over 4,200 direct jobs so far.

Deputy Head of the board of directors of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC) Adel Nejad Salim said the project is beiPng developed with $3b of investment and is aimed at an annual production of 1 million tons of ethane for feeding petrochemical facilities, NIPNA reported.

The project is being developed in 244 hectares of land near the southwestern city of Behbahan.

He also said that PGPIC has also launched three offices in three European countries.
