Iran Telecom 2017 kicks off in Tehran

IRNA The 18th International Exhibition of Telecommunications, Information Technology and Innovative CIT Solutions started work in the Iranian capital on Monday.


Iranian Minister of Information and Communications Technology Mohammad-Javad Azari-Jahromi was among the officials who attended the opening ceremony for the Iran Telecom 2017.

Representatives from 15 world countries, including Britain, Slovenia, Germany, Taiwan, China, Russia, Japan, Switzerland, France, Finland, Kazakhstan, Canada, Latvia, Norway and Greece are also present in the four-day event.

Iran Telecom 2017 is aimed at introducing the latest telecommunications achievements.
From a total of 318 participating companies, 93 are foreign entities.

Presence of the well-known foreign companies in the Iran Telecom 2017 is expected to provide Iranian companies with an ample opportunity to seek access to technical know-how and up-to-date world technologies.
