Spokesman dismisses Saudi FM’s anti-Iran claims

IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi on Saturday strongly dismissed the allegations made by Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir against the Islamic Republic of Iran as ‘baseless’.

Whenever Saudis feel pressure for their aggression to Yemen and their supports to terrorism by world public opinion, they lodge ridiculous and repeated allegations against the Islamic Republic of Iran, he said.

Surprisingly their dossier on promotion of terrorism, violence and aggressions is very thick, but they shamelessly set conditions for Iran’s active presence at global community, he said.

Use of threat and employment of military forces against small neighbors, their undeniable criminal records in Yemen and promotion of Takfiri extremism and terrorism are blatant characteristics of their foreign policy in recent years, Qasemi said.

They have no options expect to put a lid on their activities to deviate world public opinions through spending huge sum of money but to no avail, he said.
