Iran's UK envoy meets Cambridge Persian Language students

IRNA - Iranian Ambassador to London Hamid Baeedinejad paid a visit to the Persian Department of Cambridge University on Friday.

He wrote on his Twitter page about the visit, 'A lovely whole day in Cambridge to meet Persian Studies' professors and scholars as well as visiting libraries collecting rare manuscripts.'

He also showed his happiness towards the visit on his Instagram page and wrote that Cambridge has had big names like Edward Brown, a world-Known orientalist, Harold Nicholson, Rumi's interpreter, and Arthur John Arberry, orialntalist and Quran's translator.

The professors and students were very appreciative of the Persian culture, civilization and literature.
