SHANA - The economic attach� of Afghan embassy in Tehran said his country is eager to employ Iran's technologies in its plastics industry.

Addressing a conference in Tehran on assessment of Iraq and Afghanistan markets for Iran's plastic item and technologies, Jaber Ansar said on Monday that Iran enjoys 35 to 37% of Afghanistan's $300b market.

He said Iranian items are mostly sent to western and southwestern Afghanistan, adding his country has no access to high seas but enjoys an exquisite geopolitical situation.

Ansar said Iran and Afghanistan speak the same language which is an advantage for both of them in their dealings.

He further said given the access of Afghan students to Iranian universities and experts, Iran can ensure its presence in Afghanistan for many years to come.
