September 26, The Iran Project � Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi in his recent weekly conference reviewed Iran-Turkey relations, anti-Iranian allegations of some Persian Gulf littoral states, escalation of tensions in the Korean Peninsula, Iran-Saudi ties, Islamic Republic nuclear deal as well as the country missile program.

He said that Iran and Turkey relations have entered new phases, adding that the chief of the general staff of Turkey Hulusi Akar will pay visit to Tehran in the near future in response to his Iranian counterpart Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri visit to Ankara.

Qasemi said that the Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an will also pay visit to Iran in the near future, expressing hope that the visits deepen ties at all levels.

He also pointed to the anti-Iranian allegations of some Persian Gulf littoral states and said, "These are continuation of certain states� Iranophobia policies."

Commenting on Iran-Saudi relations, he said, "We are waiting for Saudi Arabia�s change of behavior and its positive attempts and measures towards Iran."

He also urged Riyadh to abandon Yemen and "end the bombardments".

Iran will not accept revision of the nuclear deal, Foreign Ministry spokesman reiterated as well.

Bahram Qasemi rejected the Washington call for reviewing the 2015 nuclear deal (known also as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA)), adding that most countries declared their opposition to the US policy in this regard during their meetings in New York.

Iran discussed the US sabotage of nuclear deal with the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany) member-states in the meeting held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, the official added.

Speaking about Iran's missile program, he also said "We will continue our deterrence and defensive policy."

Qasemi further expressed concern about escalation of tensions in the Korean Peninsula and said, "We hope decrease of crisis through negotiations and peaceful approach."
