Nikki Haley has no document against Iran: US advisor

IRNA The United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has no document against Iran, United States Senator from Vermont Bernie Sanders' Foreign Policy Advisor Matt Duss said.

Duss made the remarks in the wake of IAEA recent report over Iran commitment to nuclear accord also known as Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in a Thursday Twitter message.

'A valid inspection request requires credible info on illicit activities, not just 'Why can't I look there?' Haley offered none, has none,' the message reads.

'Iran adhering to nuclear deal with world powers, U.N. watchdog says,' he said in a separate message.

Meanwhile, Haley earlier released a Twitter message saying 'If Iran rejects a valid request for inspections, then the nuclear deal is as they say 'merely a dream.'

Once again, Iran is showing its true colors. Iran must decide whether it wants to be a member of the community of nations that can be expected to take its international obligations seriously, Haley claimed.

'Under UN Security Council Resolution 2231, Iran is prohibited from exporting any and all arms absent Security Council approval. That same UNSCR 2231 embraced the JCPOA, the nuclear deal with Iran,' she added somewhere else.

According to international news agencies, despite US pressures, IAEA inspectors have no need to inspect Iran nuclear sites.

In its 8th seasonal report, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) once again verified Iran's commitment to JCPOA.

Based on the report, Iran's low-enriched uranium (LEU) has been 88.4 kg until August 21, maximum enrichment level was 3.675 and its store of heavy water was 111 tons which are all lower than the permitted level in the agreement.

It was the third IAEA's report that verifies Iran commitment after US new President Donald Trump took office.
