IRNA - Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Jaberi Ansari met with Syria's Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem on Wednesday in Damascus.

Hosein Jaberi Ansari, who arrived in Damascus Tuesday night, discussed latest developments with senior officials of the country about Syrian peace talks.

The senior Iranian diplomat who serves as Iran's top negotiator in Syria peace talks in Kazakhstan capital city, Astana, will also discuss the process of Astana international talks with the Syrian officials.
