Omani oil minister to visit Tehran soon

SHANA – Mohammed bin Hamad Al Rumhi, the Minister of Oil and Gas in the Sultanate of Oman, has said he will visit Tehran before long.

According to IRNA, Iran’s ambassador to Muscat Mohammad Reza Nouri met with Rumhi on Monday and handed over the invitation of Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh to his Omani opposite number on Monday.

During the meeting the two sides discussed enhancement of Tehran-Muscat relations especially energy ties.

The two sides also expressed optimism that the bilateral energy relations between the two Persian Gulf littoral countries will grow in the future.
