July 30,The Iran Project US Senate passing new sanctions bill against Russia, Iran and North Korea has been met with different reactions from the leaders of the three countries and sparked Europeans enormous concern over reducing relations with them.

The US Senate backed the bills tough new sanctions against Russia, Iran, and North Korea by a margin of 98-2 on Thursday; also, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives already passed the bill on Tuesday in a 419-3 vote, Reuters reported.

The new bill which imposed sanctions on the Islamic Republic under the pretext of human rights abuses, supporting terrorism, and missile program was faced with Iranian officials reactions.

Speaking during the cabinet meeting in Tehran on Wednesday,President Hassan Rouhanidenounced the US House of Representatives approval of a draft law on fresh sanctions against Iran, saying the Islamic Republic would definitely? give a proportionate response to the hostile move.

Last day, Iran parliament also passed the general outlines of a motion to reciprocate the recent U.S. sanctions on the Islamic republic, envisaging measures to support the Iranian armed and security forces as well as those Iranians who would be affected by the US actions.

Meanwhile, European countries which have had great opportunities to have economic cooperation with Iran during the post-sanctions era, are now worried about reducing ties with the Islamic Republic following the US fresh sanctions against the country.

Russia equally seized American property in Moscow and cut US diplomatic staff in retaliation to fresh sanctions which have been imposed on the country.

Additionally, in response to US new sanctions against North Korea, Pyongyang carried out its second test of an intercontinental ballistic missile in a month, claiming the whole of the US was within range.
It should be mentioned that after US Senate passing new sanctions bill against Russia, Iran and North Korea, the differences of EU and US positions became more and more apparent by Europeans opposing Americans unilateral sanctions against the three countries.
