JCPOA saved Iran oil business: Min.

SHANA - Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh says without the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) Iran's crude oil exports would have been minimized and the country would now be considering Oil-for-Food Programme (OIP) for selling its oil in the market.

Speaking in an in-depth interview with Iran Daily, Zangeneh said if the restrictions continued and no deal was signed with the P5+1 group of countries, Iran would have been selling the minimum number of oil barrels and would be considering OIP now.

"This would only benefit the sanctions' vested interests," he said.
