MNA � Leader�s senior adviser Ali Akbar Velayati described adoption of new sanctions by the US Congress as clear violation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

Head of the Strategic Research Center of Iran's Expediency Council Ali Akbar Velayati, while pointing to imposition of new anti-Iran sanctions by US Congress and Senate, deemed the action as flagrant violation of the deal reached between Iran and the 5+1 group of countries.

Regarding Iran's response to the breach of commitment, he stressed that the government and especially the Iranian JCPOA Supervisory Committee would take necessary steps to respond to the blatant breach of promise.

Leader�s advisor on international affairs stated that �Iran will undoubtedly issue necessary responses to adoption new sanctions.�
