IRNA -- Spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Behrouz Kamalvandi in a meeting with Chief Executive Officer of Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation Alexy Likhachev discussed development of cooperation.

Speaking to IRNA about the details of his discussion with the Russian officials, Kamalvandi said: 'The meetings occurred within the framework of regular negotiations between the two counties and included various aspects of the two states' cooperation in the nuclear industry.'

Kamalvandi thanked Russia for its cooperation in the Joint commission and expressed the hope that all sides would execute their obligations enshrined in the JCPOA.

Speaking about the details of his talks with Deputy Chief Executive Officer for International Relations at ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation Nikolai Spassky, Kamalvandi said that he has discussed cooperation in case of the first unit of Bushehr plant and the program for construction of second and third phases of this plant.

Kamalvandi also had a meeting with Deputy Finance Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Storchak on Tuesday.

The two officials discussed the roadmap of cooperation between the two states.
