IRNA � More than 150 members of Iran�s Parliament (Majlis) in a letter on Wednesday called on President Hassan Rouhani to use capable women as ministers in his cabinet.

According to Mohammad Hossein Farhangi, a member of Majlis Presiding Board, 157 lawmakers in their letter to President Rouhani have underlined the vital role women have played in the Islamic Revolution and social developments.

The President has been asked to appoint women as ministers in the new cabinet in line with the goals of the sustainable development, Farhangi said.
