MNA Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said the Islamic Republic has always responded positively to all countries calling for help in the fight against terrorism.

President Hassan Rouhani made the remarks in a meeting with Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah in Tehran on Wednesday.

During the meeting, the Iranian president called for collective cooperation from all regional countries in settling the many issues across the region, adding terrorism, discord, and meddling of certain countries in others domestic affairs have further escalated tension in the Middle East, and more unity and cooperation are needed to resolve the existing conflicts.

Alawi further hailed the Islamic Republics constructive and effective role in settling regional issues such as the Syrian crisis and combating terrorism.
