July 8, The Iran Project Iran is ready to annually awardfour scholarships and a number of study opportunities to the students and professors of the Center for Iranian Studies at Yerevan State University, Deputy Minister of Science for International Affairs says.
In a meeting with Aram Simonian,head of theYerevanState University (YSU), HosseinSalar Amoli discussed different aspects of scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries.
Salar Amoli referred to the visit of Irans Science Minister Mohamamd Farhadito Yerevan, saying having cooperation with Armenia is of great importance to the Islamic Republic.
He went on to say that Iran has gained great experience during the sanctions time and is ready to share views on venues for expansion of scientific, research and technological cooperation between the two countries.
Aram Simonian, also for his part, introduced the scientific and research capabilities of theYerevanState University and expressed their readiness to cooperate with the universities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Irans Minister of Science, Research and Technology Mohamamd Farhadi, heading an academic delegation, landed in Yerevan in July 7 to confer with the countrys officials on expansion of mutual cooperation.
