IRNA � Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi on Monday condemned yesterday�s terrorist blast in Damascus, saying that whenever terrorists are in a weak position they resort to �blind revenges�.


Condemning terrorist explosion in the Syrian capital which killed and wounded a number of the innocent Syrian people, Qasemi said when the efforts of the Syrian friendly countries to reduce tension and start dialogue gain brighter prospects and make terrorists get in a weak position, they commit such cowardly acts.

Qasemi expressed sympathy with the Syrian nation and government and expressed condolences to the families of the victims.

He also hoped that terrorism would soon be uprooted in the region, especially in Syria and Iraq.
