Top security official says improving economy country’s top priority

IRNA — Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani called for strengthening the national economy, adding that improving the economy is now country’s top priority.

Speaking in a local ceremony, he noted that there is no concern over regional and trans-regional military action against Iran.

Urging national consolidation in the country, Shamkhani noted that Iran’s security, stability and influence has roots in its independent governance and religious beliefs.

He referred to Iran’s stability and security, and noted that Iran does not pay $400 billion to buy security and do not buy Islands in Egypt or Maldives to develop its influence.
