Head of the Management Department at the POGC Refinery Mohammad Shafi-Moazeni said the third refinery possessed the most complicated processes offering a wide variety of products among POGC complexes.

“The company is capable of producing 50 million cubic meters of natural gas, 80 thousand barrels of gas condensate and 400 tons of sulfur,” he continued.

Shafi-Moazeni said the refinery also produced 2,400 tons of ethane and 4,400 tons of LPG; “overall last year, the complex managed to yield about 17 billion cubic meters of sweet gas, 24,500,000 barrels of gas condensates and 636,500 tons of ethane.”

A total of 988 thousand tons of LPG and 87 thousand tons of sulfur were also exported to foreign markets from Phase 4 and 5, last year.
