'Iran missile attack conveys message to states sponsors of terrorism'

June 19, The Iran Project An Iranian parliamentarian says Irans Islamic Revolution Guards Corps missile attacks atterrorist hideouts in Syria conveyed a message to the states sponsors of terrorism, mainly Saudi Arabia and the US, to go out of the region.

Referring to IRGCs missile strikes targeting DaeshTakfiris' headquarters in Syrias Dayr al-Zawr in retaliation for the recent terror attacks in Tehran, JavadKarimi Ghodoosi, a member of Irans Majlis said Irans missile attacks was a response to the anti-Iran claims and policies President Donald Trump and Saudi ArabiasKing Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud adopted in theArabic Islamic American Summitin Riyadh.

Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the chairman of Iran's Foreign Policy and the National Security Committee also noted that the IRGCs retaliatory move showed the authority of the Islamic Republic and was a new phasein the fight against terrorism in the region.

In addition to being a fatal blow to Daesh Takfiris' headquarters in Syria, the missile attack can be considered a serious warning to all the supporters of terrorism in the region and beyond, Boroujerdi added.

Irans IRGCs anti-ISIS operation had an obvious message for the supporters of Takfiri terrorists, including Saudi Arabia that Islamic Republic will retaliate in like manner on anyone else carrying out attacks in Iran, stressed another Iranian lawmaker, Amir Khojasteh.

An Iranian MPAlireza Rahimialso said Irans missile strike at ISIS positions was an example of the IRGCs defensive capabilities that is not only ready to fight against terrorism, but is fully prepared to protect the countrys territorial integrity.

Irans Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC )announced on Sunday that medium-range ground-to-ground missiles were launched from Irans western provinces of Kermanshah and Kordestan in response to the recent Daesh-claimed terror attacks in Tehran, which killed 18 people and injured 50 more.

On June 7, gunmen mounted almost simultaneous assaults on Irans Parliament and the Mausoleum of the late Founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini.

The Daesh Takfiri terrorist group claimed responsibility for the assaults. Iran has arrested dozens of terrorists since the Tehran attacks.
