Hamas keen on boosting ties with Iran, Lebanon

IRNA An senior official of the Palestine Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said on Monday that the organization is keen on cementing its relations with Iran and Lebanon.


Talking to pan-Arabist satellite TV Channel Al Mayadeen in a telephone conversation, Taher Al-Nono said Hamas is seeking to enhance its cordial relations with all regional countries, those that support the Palestinian nation's resistance Iran and Lebanon in particular.

He added Hamas would expand its ties with Iran, Lebanon, Qatar and Turkey.

Earlier, a member of the Political Bureau of the Hamas, Khalil Al-Hayya announced that Qatar dispute with the Persian Gulf neighbors, Saudi Arabia in particular, does not have an effect on the Palestinian organization ties with Doha.

He added Hamas and Iran enjoy positive and permanent relations, adding the movement is trying to increase its all-out relations with Tehran.
