IRNA � The Supreme Leader of North Korea Kim Jong-un on Monday congratulated President Hassan Rouhani for his reelection in Friday presidential election in Iran.


'Your re-election indicates people�s full confidence in and support for you,' reads the message in parts.

Kim wished Rouhani success and said he�s certain that the friendly mutual relations between the two countries and their collaboration in defending the world peace and stability and in reaching international justice will improve.

Hassan Rouhani was elected as the president of Iran for the second term on May 19, winning about 23 million votes (57%). The turnout was more than 40 million (70%).
