Press TV- The Yemeni army has reportedly fired a barrage of missiles on military positions in Saudi border areas, killing andinjuring tens of Riyadhs soldiers in the retaliatory attacks.
According to a Wednesday report by Yemens al-Masirah TV, the missiles hit the al-Fawaz and al-Makhrouq military bases in Najran, southwestern Saudi Arabia.
The Yemeni armys artillery units also targeted the gatherings of Saudi forces near the al-Khadra border crossing in Najran, leaving tens of them dead or wounded.
Inside Yemen, four Saudi-backed militants died when Yemeni forces launched a ground operation in Maarib Province.

Yemeni troops also foiled several attacks by the militants loyal to the former pro-Saudi government, killing four of the Saudi mercenaries and inflicting heavy losses on them.
Yemens army, backed by Houthi Ansarullah fighters and popular forces, has been defending the country against a brutal Saudi-led military campaign, which began in March 2015 with the aim of reinstalling the former Yemeni president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, a close Riyadh ally.
The offensive has claimed 12,000 civilian lives, according to the latest tally by a Yemeni monitoring group.
