He made the remarks upon his arrival on Thursday morning in this north central Iranian province where he is to inaugurate several development projects.
A number of cabinet members are accompanying the President during his day-long visit to Semnan.
In his message on the occasion of Norouz (New Iranian Year, 1396), Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on March 21, 2017, named the new Iranian calendar year the Year of Economy of Resistance: Production and Employment.'
Speaking to reporters at Semnan airport, President Rouhani said all provinces have to be focused on fulfill this year's motto made by the Leader.
He added that his government is to fully implement all of its projects by the end of its tenure.
Some of those projects have reached 80 percent progress, Rouhani went on to say.
The next presidential election is slated for May 19, 2017, in Iran.
