Efficient service for passengers, Iran Air top priority: Official

IRNA The CEO of the Airline of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IranAir) Farhad Parvaresh says that providing and expanding good service for the passengers is the company's top priority.

Addressing a ceremony to deliver the second Airbus A330 at the Mehrabad International Airport on Saturday, Parvaresh announced that another (the third) Airbus passenger plane will be soon delivered to the country.

Buying a plane is a complicated process, the chief executive officer said, adding the Western countries are after their interests, and so should be Iran.

The preliminary contract between Iran and France's Airbus for purchase of 100 passenger planes was signed during the historic visit of the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani to Paris in January.

The first Airbus model A321 was delivered to Iran in Toulouse, France, on Jan 11, 2017.
