MNA � Minister of Defense Hossein Dehghan underlined that Islamic Repulic has not annulled any defense program and military drill recently.Brigadier General Dehghan, who was addressing a meeting in Noshahr of Northern Iran on Thursday, noted achievements in defense and military fields particularly ground-to-ground and long-range ballistic missiles with regards to their range and accuracy.

�Iran has never canceled or halted its defense programs; the defense path of Islamic Republic has proved successful and is trustworthy,� the general said.

Dehghan, considering the condition in Middle East, emphasized that terrorism is the result of a conspiracy against region in order to serve the interests of US and Israeli regime.

�Liberating Quds and destroying Zionist tumor is the main duty of Muslims as Palestine is the main uniting element in Islamic world,� reaffirmed he, adding �US tries to remove Israeli and his history from the minds and to replace it with Islamic Republic.�

Dehghan said world is forgetting ethical values and a combination of Saudi money with barbarism has resulted in deadly crises; �Salafism and Vahabbism has no place in Islam and ISIL is the greatest threat for its supporters.�

�ISIL is not a threat for Iran as it has no social position it the country; despite all efforts by enemies, ISIL has achieved nothing in our country and Iran�s security and stability is unique in the world,� he reaffirmed.

Highlighting that Iran tries to unveil the truth, the official noted Leader of the Islamic Revolution�s recent remarks on Trump and the real face of US; �they bring corruption and misery to everywhere they step in.�
