Iran plays crucial role in settling regional tensions: Kuwaiti expert

IRNA A noted Kuwaiti legal expert said on Tuesday that President Hassan Rouhanis imminent visit to Kuwait under current complicated and sensitive conditions if of special significance for tackling many regional tensions.


Jalil Tabakh, a member of Iran-Kuwait Friendship Group, added in an exclusive interview that the Kuwaiti nation and government welcomed Rouhani and his accompanying delegations visit to the country.

President Rouhani is to visit Kuwait on Wednesday.

As a political researcher, I know well that the two nations unbreakable bonds are rooted in history and no power can ignore the ancient ties and impairs them, the expert said.

Tabakh, also head of Association Defending Ahl ul-Beit (AS), contended that both countries have numerous common viewpoints and play a crucial role in settling regional tensions.

Irans military, economic and cultural accomplishments are a source of honor for the Islamic world, he said, hoping that negotiation of the two countries leaders in Kuwait would pave the way for scientific exchanges transfer of experience.
