IRNA � Lebanese President Michel Aoun in a message to President Hassan Rouhani on Monday extended condolences on demise of the late Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani.


In his message, General Aoun underlined that the late Ayatollah was always supportive to Lebanon and its integration.

Aoun offered his condolences to the family of the late Ayatollah as well as Iranian nation.

Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani died at 82 on Sunday evening due to cardiac arrest caused by heart attack.
