Tehran-Moscow-Damascus alliance shattering US imperialism in Mideast: US Analyst
Tasnim An American political analyst said the alliance between Iran, Russia and Syria against terrorism is dealing a major blow to US imperial interests in the Middle East.

Syria, Russia and Iran are dealing a major blow to US Middle East imperial interests, hopefully a decisive one ahead, Stephen Lendman from Illinois told the Tasnim News Agency.

Following is the full text of the interview.

Tasnim: Some experts state that the recent presidential elections in the US have an influence on the recent developments in Syria, because there are new signals from the president-elect who has said that the US should not be raising problems in Syria. Rather, it should be working with Russia and other countries for stability. What is your take on this?

Lendman: Obama is a serial aggressor. Im hopeful Trump wants more diplomacy, less war, and cooperation with Russia in combating terrorism.

Dark forces in America are pressuring him heavily to continue dirty business as usual. We wont know which way hell go until he enters office, and then only gradually.

His presidency could be historic if he diverges from longstanding US imperial policy and lives to tell about it. Thats the other unknown. Doing the right thing could get him assassinated and replaced by a hawk.

Tasnim: An estimated 11 million Syrians have been forced to flee their homes since the outbreak of the foregin-backed war in March 2011. Now, in the sixth year of war, 13.5 million are in need of humanitarian assistance within the country. Among those escaping the conflict, the majority have sought refuge in neighboring countries or within Syria itself. Meanwhile, about one million have requested asylum to Europe. Why dont European states try to resolve this issue?

Lendman: EU countries are complicit with US imperial wars, including against Syria. Now theyre washing their hands of the refugee crisis they caused. Theyre using false flag terrorist attacks to make their case - like the incidents in Ankara and Berlin days earlier. Other reasons behind them as well Ive written about. Theyre always strategically timed.

Fear-mongering gets public support everywhere. Its ongoing heavily in America and Europe. I know of NO bona fide terrorist attacks in Western countries post-9/11. All reported ones were false flags. I wrote about many of them. I think the Berlin incident and killing Russias ambassador to Turkey were both false flags.

Tasnim: Political analysts opine that more cooperation between Tehran and Moscow is required in Syria if they want to bring the war to a close, and not end up with a terrorist state in place of a current government. What do you think?

Lendman: Russian and Iranian officials are committed to working for cessation of hostilities and conflict resolution in Syria. Maybe Turkey, but Erdogan has lots of proving to do. Hes been supporting terrorists all along. I dont trust him.

The war in Syria will end though cant predict when. Its clear America and its rogue allies lost - a major imperial defeat. Obama leaves office a failed, disgraced, lawless president.

Syria, Russia and Iran are dealing a major blow to US Middle East imperial interests, hopefully a decisive one ahead.
