Senior Iranian official vows S. Arabia's further isolation

FNA- Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council (EC) Mohsen Rezayee stressed that the regional developments indicate that the Saudi regime is growing more isolated.

"Saudi Arabia will become more isolated soon and the causes are on the rise in the region one after another for the al-Saud's isolation," Rezayee wrote on his Instagram page on Monday.

Noting that the Saudi government is experiencing its worst conditions now, he said, "The kingdom's defeat in Yemen, defeats of the followers of Wahhabism, meaning the ISIL, in Iraq as well as the defeat of al-Nusra Front (recently renamed to Fatah al-Sham Front) and other terrorists in Syria, that is those who have grown with the billions of dollars fed by Saudi Arabia, have all put Saudi Arabia's situation in a mess and have put them at a difficult crossroad."

Rezayee had also in late November said that the US no more trusts the Saudi officials to implement its plots in the region.

"Despite the measures that Saudi Arabia is adopting in Syria to attract the US support and trust, the Americans have now deployed 300 military forces in a base between the Northern parts of the Euphrates and the Turkish borders (to render support to the terrorists) and have direct military presence which shows their mistrust of the al-Saud and the end of the era of their service to the West," Rezayee said.

He said that the Saudi officials, similar to Saddam, are the US slaves who will be sent to the trashcan of the history after their expiry date.

Elsewhere, the former commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) warned that Iran will turn any possible military confrontation against Saudi Arabia into the "war of oil tankers", and said that war between two Muslim states doesnt benefit anyone but if Saudi Arabia starts a war or any other adventurism against Iran, it will be terminated in a way that no sign of Wahhabism and the Saudi version of Islam will remain in the region and the world.

In relevant remarks in September, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif strongly criticized the Saudi regime for implementing the US orders in the Middle-East and also trying hard not to lose Washington's support.

"Certain regional countries, specially Saudi Arabia, are desperate not to lose the US support," Zarif said in a meeting with Iranian expatriates residing in the US.

The Iranian foreign minister said Saudi Arabia is carrying out endless lobbies with Americans because the Saudi rulers know that their legitimacy and very existence is tied to the US support for them.

Also in September, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Jaberi Ansari expressed regret over the grave mistakes made by Saudi Arabia in the region, warning of increased tensions in light of Riyadh's policies.

"Saudi Arabia has moved towards clashes in the region and normalization of ties with the Zionist regime through its wrong policies," Jaberi Ansari said in an interview with the state-run TV.

He said that Riyadh is attempting to play a blame-game by exporting its problems to foreign actors, and stressed, "Saudi Arabia's policies will sooner or later fail."
