Iran, China ready to boost scientific cooperation

TEHRAN (ISNA) Irans deputy president for science and technology expressed the countrys readiness to develop scientific cooperation with China.

Sorena Sattari made his remarks after paying a visit to Zhongguancun Science Park of China, where he underlined that the two countries enjoy the potential to boost cooperation in different fields including science and technology.

Iranian official also held a meeting with the international business director of the Zhongguancun Administrative Committee, where he emphasized that Iran is making the best efforts to lead the countrys economy towards knowledge-revenue based one.

Zhongguancun Science Park is made up of a group of seven parks, covering an area of about 100 square kilometers at the northwest edge of Beijing, close to the city's internationally esteemed educational institutions such as Tsinghua University, the University of Beijing, and the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS).
