TEHRAN, Oct. 17 (MNA) � Iran�s deputy FM has rejected US secretary of state�s recent claims that Tehran�s position toward Syria and Hezbollah impedes US from removing obstacles to Iran�s banking transactions.

Abbas Araghchi, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister�who chairs the JCPOA follow-up committee, made the remark on Sunday in reaction to claims made by US Secretary of States John Kerry that Tehran�s support for resistance groups has prevented Washington from observing its commitments under the nuclear deal in regard to removal of obstacles to Iran�s international banking transactions.

�During the course of nuclear negotiations, the Americans agreed not to impede the implementation of JCPOA and comply with their commitments,� Araghchi said.

He went on to stress that the American and European sides to the nuclear deal are obliged to create proper conditions for Iran�s easier access to global markets.

�During the talks, we explicitly maintained that security, regional, defense, and missile issues as well as the principles of the Islamic Revolution are nonnegotiable,� he stressed.

The American side knows any claim in this vein is nothing but an excuse to shirk from its JCPOA commitments, he added.

Araghchi then pointed to the US aggression in Yemen, saying based on this military involvement, Iran too could have avoided its JCPOA commitments.

�The American authorities have never performed their commitments through good will, and we need to dictate to them the necessity of implementing the JCPOA,� he said.
