TEHRAN, Oct 08 (Shana) � Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Ali Kardor and Director General of Russian Tatneft Nail Ulfatovich Maganov signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Saturday.

The MoU envisions Dehloran field development study.

Addressing the inking ceremony, Maganov voiced satisfaction with preparation of the ground for cooperation with the NIOC, while introducing capability and capacity of his company for the purpose.

He said his company is active in various oil industry subsidiaries, including the upstream and downstream sectors.

He added that oil extraction, Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), oil refining, machine manufacturing and equipment manufacturing are among branches of Tatneft activities.

The official said among other advantages of work with the Tatneft are specialized forces and using the latest technology.

He hoped that the deal will prepare the ground for more future cooperation.

Dehloran oil field is 22 kms southwest of Dehloran in Ilam Province and contains about five billion barrels of oil reserves.
