Tehran, Sept 30, IRNA � The Interim Friday Prayer Leader of Tehran Ayatollah Mohammed Emami-Kashani said on Friday that police is to maintain the country's security as well as values.


Ayatollah Emami Kashani said in his second sermon on Friday.

Police and armed forces are trying to guarantee the country's security and safegyard lofty values, he said.

On recent statements of the Supreme Leader regarding the upcoming presidential elections, the Ayatollah said the Supreme Leader's comments aimed to prevent discord and insecurity in the society.
