Irans womens volleyball squad has beat North Koreas team in the first day of the Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship.
Irans Sarmayeh Bank team trounced the North Koreas April 25 team 3-1 in the Pool B match which was held in the Alonte Sports ArenainBian,Laguna in the Philippines on Saturday.
Sarmayeh Bank is set to take on Thailands Bangkok Glass team on Monday.
The games are being held from September 3 to September 11, during which 12 teams will compete against each other in four pools.
