IME trading hits 435 KT late August

TEHRAN (ISNA)- 434,995 MT of commodities worth over $179 million were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) late August.




According to the report from the IME, on the domestic and export metals and minerals pit of IME, 185,155 MT of various products worth close to $57 million were traded.


On this trading floor, 63,425 MT of steel products, 110 KT of iron ore as well as 4,830 MT of copper products as well as 3,720 MT of aluminum, 2,500 MT of cement, 120 MT of molybdenum concentrate, 60 MT of zinc, 500 MT of coke and 18.6 Kg of gold billion were traded.


The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 196,722 MT of different commodities with the total value of $96 million were traded.


On this trading floor, more than 58,708 MT of bitumen, 53,950 MT of polymer products, 45,600 MT of VB as well as 9 KT of lube-cut oil, 19,431 MT of chemical products, 8,900 MT of sulfur, 1,033 MT of insulation and 100 MT of slaps waxes were traded.


Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME, 48,981 MT of various commodities worth over $25 million were traded. On this trading floor, 24,101 MT of feed barley within the framework of guaranteed price plan, 19,200 MT of sugar, 2,800 MT of maize, 1 KT of imported rice, 1 KT of crude vegetable oil, 865 MT of meals and 15 MT of frozen chicken were traded by the customers.
