Tehran, Aug 23, IRNA � Visiting Malaysian Parliament Speaker Pandikar Amin bin Haji Mulia on Tuesday conferred with Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani on expansion of parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.


The two speakers are to review expansion of parliamentary cooperation as well as regional and international developments.

After the meeting, the two parliament speakers will attend a joint press conference to explain outcome of their talks.

Malaysian parliament speaker arrived in Tehran Tuesday morning and was welcomed by Special Aide of the Iranian Majlis Speaker for International Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian.

During his stay in Tehran, the Malaysian parliament speaker is scheduled to confer with senior Iranian officials.
