Gazprom, LUKOIL and Rosneft interested in Iran's projects

Russian oil companies are interested in entering Iranian market, Russia's ambassador to Iran, Levan Dzhagaryan, said in an interview to RIA Novosti.
He specified that Gazprom, LUKOIL and Rosneft were considering the possibility to launch their projects in the country.

In particular, head of Rosneft, Igor Sechin, visited Iran in April this year and held negotiations with the Oil Minister Bijan Zangeneh. The parties agreed to compile a list of joint perspective projects with their further development at the experts' level, - said an ambassador.

At present, Gazprom and Gazpromneft are agreeing the memorandums of cooperation in the development of oil and gas fields by National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and National Iranian Gaz Company (NIGC).

At the same time, he pointed out that Moscow believed its possible to set up a consortium of Russian companies for oil fields' development in Iran.
