Syrian Army cuts off one more key supply line of terrorists in northern Aleppo

TEHRAN (FNA)- Syrian Army troops and their popular allies beat back terrorists from a key chunk of Castillo highway that led to the Northeastern countryside of Aleppo city after hours of non-stop clashes.

The Syrian government forces continued to advance against militant groups along Castillo highway and cut off their supply line to al-Jandol.

The Syrian soldiers are currently chasing down the fleeing terrorists in Northern Aleppo.

Reports said earlier today that several commanders of al-Nusra Front and Nouralddeen al-Zinki began deserting their positions and escaping from the Northern countryside of Aleppo towards the Turkish border as the army forces and Hezbollah are making significant advances into militant-held areas.

"Significant advances of the Syrian army and its popular allies, backed up by the Russian and Syrian fighter jets, in the Northern countryside of Aleppo city have forced several terrorist commanders, including Commander of 16th division in Bani Zeid Abdulkhaliq Hayati, to leave their forces behind and flee the battlefields toward Turkish border to find safer shelters," the sources said.

"Hayati had resigned under the pretext of serious illness," the sources added.

"Over 60 members, mainly commanders, of al-Nusra Front and Nouralddeen al-Zinki have left a large volume of Saudi and Turkish logistical equipment and machinery behind and fled the battlefield in al-Lairamoun, Bani Zeid, al-Malaah and Castillo," they went on to say.
