TEHRAN, Jul. 24 (MNA) � Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has been promoted from his position as special aide to Director General of International Affairs at the Parliament. Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has replaced Hossein Sheikholeslam, who now holds the position of advisor to Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.

Amir-Abdollahian had served as Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs for five years before giving his position to former Spokesperson of Foreign Ministry Hossein Jaberi Ansari.

Amir-Abdollahian held the position of special aid to Ali Larijani for international affairs for a very short time.
