June 29, The Iran Project - An Iranian Member of Parliament says despite all the conspiracies to divert public opinion from the issue of Palestine and liberation of Quds, it has always been the top priority of the Islamic world and nothing can fade it into oblivion.

Speaking to a reporter on Wednesday, Ardeshir Nourian, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Majlis referred to the conspiracies of Saudi Arabia, Israel and the US to make the world forget the issue of Palestine, and urged Muslims across the world to massively take part in the upcoming International Quds Day rallies.

Nourian stressed that the conspiracy of changing the top priority of the Muslim world and region from the issue of Palestine to Daesh and Takfiri wars took place while Dori Gold, Middle East Director General of Israel's ministry of Foreign Affairs said in the 16th Annual Herzliya Conference held in Tel Aviv that Israeli-Palestinian conflict has become the last priority for the Arab world and Israel."

In the current situation of the world, one of the major issues that make the International Quds Day rally hold more massively is to show the fact that the issue of Palestine and liberation of Quds is still the top priority of the Muslim world and nothing can fade it into oblivion, he added.

He went on to say that people's massive participation in the annual event can�neutralize the dangerous plot of the enemies' to disrupt muslin world by religious and ethnic conflicts to provide the security of the Zionist regime.

The International Quds Day is an annual event during which millions of people in Iran and other Muslim and non-Muslim countries worldwide hold rallies in solidarity with the Palestinian people and opposition to the occupation of the Palestinian territories by the Zionist regime of Israel.

The day is also seen as the legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini, who officially declared the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as International Quds Day back in 1979.
