Commander: Iran's Navy progress is great

Kerman, June 26, IRNA Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said Iran's progress in different areas of its Navy is considerable.

'Our mission today is to implement the Supreme Leader's guidelines,' Sayyari said at a local ceremony in this southeastern Iranian province on Saturday evening.

The naval forces of Iran are present in the international waters, provide security for the ships and hoist the Iranian flag while someday the forces could just navigate at a distance of 50 km of the beach, the commander said.

He further referred to presence of Iran's 41st flotilla in Gulf of Aden aiming to successfully provide security and serve the country's economic interests there.
