Iran concernd about repetition of human tragedy in Hajj pilgrimage

Tabriz, E. Azarbaijan Prov., June 1, IRNA Iran said on Wednesday that it is concerned about repetition of the human tragedy which perished several thousand pilgrims at Mina last year.

Head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization Saeed Ohadi said on Wednesday that Saudi government will likely repeat the negligence it was responsible for about management of movement of Iranian pilgrims to other Muslim countries.

Ohadi made the remarks in press conference, saying that the Saudi government made the Iranians Hajj pilgrimage subject to political issues and absolutely, the world Muslim people will take stances against Saudi political approach.

He said Saudi Arabia will pay a hefty cost for depriving Iranians of Hajj rituals and Muslim communities will not bow to such an injustice.
The official said violation of rights of pilgrims to the house of God is an injustice per Quranic injunctions and the Saudi government should be accountable before the international community.

Ohadi said Iranians' integration is to such an extent that prevented Saudis to achieve their goal. 'Saudi Arabia has become so desperate that the Saudi foreign minister gives press conference instead of the country's minister of Hajj.'

On blood money to be paid to victims of last year's Hajj rituals, he said the blood money for the families who lost their loved ones in crane collapse will be paid up to their family.
On blood money to families of Mina human tragedy victims, he said the Shia and Sunni religious dignitaries are unanimous on payment of blood money from the public assets of Saudi government and they say the issue is under investigation.
