Tehran, May 23, IRNA � President Hassan Rouhani said relations between Iran and India today can benefit both nations and also the entire region.


President Rouhani made the remarks at a joint news conference Monday with visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Welcoming Modi, Rouhani said his trip to Iran is taking place at post sanctions and post JCPOA era that will prepare the ground for further economic cooperation.

Today, the two sides are determined to enhance bilateral relations from merely trade ties into comprehensive economic ones, said President Rouhani.
