Speaking on the sidelines of his tour of the 21st Iran International Exhibition of Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals, Jahangiri said now, the country is heading towards industrial development and oil and gas is the most important and most pivotal part of Iranian economy.
He said the policy of the Economy of Resistance is a policy which wants to benefit from all the world capacity.
He said the Economy of Resistance wants to use financial resources, the world markets and technology.
He noted that today, Economy of Resistance is knowledge-based and relies on the state of art science.
The official said that also, it is the kind of economy whose axis is private sector and justice-oriented.
The Veep said compared to other sectors, the oil, gas and petrochemicals sectors are the most important sectors containing Economy of Resistance.
On the new oil contracts, Jahangiri said the country is in fact seeking transfer of knowledge and experience to exploit all capacity of the country.
Our objective and one of the priorities of government is attraction of direct investment; we welcome the companies entering talks for the purpose, We believe that it will put management of the companies and attraction of investment at our disposal.
He said all regulations pertaining to oil contracts are clear and transparent and investors will be active in a clear atmosphere in Iran.
